Vijaya Hospital(AHS) was established in 1972, Vijaya Hospital has been providing quality medical service to the community. The trust was formed by Shri. B. Nagi Reddi, a recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke award and founder of Vijaya Vauhini Studios, one of the most reputed film studios in the country. The Vijaya Health Centre was started in 1987, and Vijaya Heart Foundation in 1996 was established as a super speciality cardiac care centre. The Centre has performed more than 13,000 beating heart surgeries, which it specializes on. It is one of the leading centers in beating heart surgeries in India. It has also performed more than 50,000 angio procedures. Vijaya Institute of Trauma & Orthopaedics was subsequently established as a specialized centre for trauma & orthopaedic services. The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).

Candidates seeking admission to courses such as B.Sc. M.L.T, B.Sc. Optometry, B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.C.V.T, B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology, B.O.T, Bachelor of Medical Imaging Technology, Bachelor of Radiotherapy Technology, Bachelor of Neuro Technology, Bachelor of Nuclear Medicine, and B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. Candidates must obtain separate minimum pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and must secure a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together.
Government seats: Merit Seats against which the Director, LBS Centre makes allotment are called ‘Government Seats. All seats in Government Colleges, all seats in Self-Financing Colleges functioning under Government-controlled autonomous bodies (such as SIMET, CPAS, CAPE, MCC, etc.), and 50% of the total seats in Private Self-Financing Colleges are classified as Government Seats. The Director of LBS Centre is responsible for making allotments to these Government Seats based on merit. Candidates seeking admission to Private Self-Financing Nursing Colleges are required to accept the conditions outlined in the agreement between the Government and the management of such colleges, and are deemed to have accepted these terms upon application. In the case of self-financing Nursing Colleges run by institutions with minority status, as recognized by the Government or the National Commission for Minorities, 20% of the Government Seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to the minority community that manages the college, based on merit. If sufficient eligible candidates from the concerned minority community are not available, the remaining seats will be filled from the State Merit list in accordance with standard procedures.
Management seats: Seats other than ‘Government Seats’ are filled by the management based on inter se merit. Any changes to this process can be made only with the prior approval of the Government. Details regarding seats reserved for nominees and under special reservation categories are provided in Annexure II(a).
RESERVATION OF SEATS: These seats are reserved for nominees from Union Territories or other States for various courses, subject to the candidates meeting the academic eligibility criteria. Nominations to these seats will be made by the Government of India, in accordance with the eligibility conditions specified in Clause 6. The distribution of seats under this category. Additionally, specific seats are reserved for candidates of Kerala origin who are settled in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Nominations for these seats will be made by the Administration of that Union Territory, and candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements outlined in Clause 6. Similarly, seats are also reserved for candidates of Kerala origin settled in Lakshadweep. These candidates must be sponsored by the Administration of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep and must meet the prescribed qualifications as per Clause 6. The distribution of all such seats is provided. Five percent of the seats available for the state for allotment from the state rank lists, for all the courses in all the Government/Aided/Govt. Cost Sharing Colleges are reserved for the candidates with disabilities.

All seats in Government Colleges, all seats in Self-Financing Colleges managed by Government-controlled autonomous bodies, the Government Seats in Private Self-Financing Colleges, and Management Seats in Private Self-Financing Colleges (in cases where the management has surrendered these seats for centralized allotment) will be filled by the Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology, through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) using a Single Window System (SWS). Allotments to various courses—such as B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (M.L.T), B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. Optometry, B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T., B.Sc. Dialysis Technology, B.O.T, Bachelor of Medical Imaging Technology, Bachelor of Radiotherapy Technology, Bachelor of Neuro Technology, Bachelor of Nuclear Medicine, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and any other new courses (subject to approval by the Government and Kerala University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2025)—will be carried out by the Director, LBS Centre. The allotment will be made strictly based on the options exercised by candidates, the rank lists prepared by the Director, LBS Centre, applicable reservations, and the availability of seats.
Application for admission to all the courses -B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. (Optometry), B.C.V.T., B.A.S.L.P, B.Sc. MRT, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology , BOT can be registered only online through a single application. The provision for applying online is available at the website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. Submission of more than one application by a candidate will lead to rejection of the candidature.

Registration | At this stage, candidates must enter all the required basic information in the application form. To begin, click the “New Registration” button and fill in the personal details on the page that appears. It is mandatory to complete all fields during registration. Candidates must also specify their category (SC/ST or General), based on which the applicable application fee will be displayed. Once all details are accurately entered, click the Save and Continue button to complete the registration. The next page will show the application fee and a summary of the applicant’s details. After verifying that all the information provided is correct, the candidate can proceed to the next step. |
Fee payment | At this step, the candidate has to make the payment of the application fee by way of Online Payment or by way of challan. |
Application Entry | A registration ID will be provided to the candidate. Candidate should note this Registration Id and password which are required for future login. Candidate should keep them confidential. The candidate should fill all the remaining items in the application entry stage including academic data. The facility to upload the corresponding certificate / document in respect of claims if any will be available against each entry in the application. The Candidate shall click the corresponding button and upload the files. |
Final Confirmation and Print Application | After completing step 3, the candidate can preview the application before confirmation and submission. After Preview the candidate has to accept the declaration and make final submission. The facility to accept the declaration (Tick box) will be enabled only if all the mandatory fields are filled and the uploading of supporting documents and images are completed. Candidate should then take a printout of the Application for future reference. |
