In a recent announcement, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 will revert to its pre-COVID-19 question paper pattern and examination duration. This decision has been made to streamline the examination process and align it with the format used prior to the pandemic.
As per the Government Order No. MED 51 RGU 2023, dated 13-04-2023, candidates interested in pursuing a B.Sc. Nursing course in Karnataka must register for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2025) conducted by KEA. This is a critical prerequisite for participation in the counseling and seat allotment process.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official public notice dated 16th January 2025, outlining the conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for the year 2025.

The NTA will focus solely on higher education entrance exams from 2025, ceasing recruitment exams. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced reforms, including NTA restructuring with ten new posts and enhanced zero-error testing. CUET-UG will remain annual, while discussions are ongoing about conducting NEET as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
