Eligibility criteria: Candidates seeking admission must have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, and English conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State. Candidates who have completed any other equivalent 10+2 examination recognized by a competent board, such as AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS/TOSS, with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects, are also eligible, provided the qualification is recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State. Additionally, candidates who have completed Intermediate (10+2) with a Bridge Course in Biology and Physical Science are eligible for admission.
ELIGIBILITY :
Nationality & Domicile : For admission into Allied Health Sciences courses under the Competent Authority Quota in Telangana, the candidate must be an Indian National, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder and must satisfy the conditions prescribed in G.O.Ms. No. 140, HM&FW (C1) Department, dated 04-10-2024. The candidate should have studied in educational institutions within the State of Telangana for at least four (4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared, or first appeared, for the relevant qualifying examination. If the candidate has not studied in educational institutions in Telangana for the entire or part of the four consecutive academic years, he/she must have resided in the State of Telangana for a minimum period of four (4) years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination. Furthermore, if the candidate has not studied in any educational institution but has resided in Telangana as specified above, he/she must have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination within the State of Telangana to be eligible for admission under the Competent Authority Quota.

AGE: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2025. The candidate’s age shall be determined strictly based on the date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination or its equivalent examination. No request for age relaxation under any circumstances shall be considered or permitted.
ONLINE APPLICATIONS: The online application form for determining the merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats will be available on the official website https://alliedhs.tsche.in from 8:00 AM on 29-10-2025 to 5:00 PM on 08-11-2025. Candidates are advised to download and carefully read the Prospectus and instructions for filling out the application form from http://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/ or https://alliedhs.tsche.in before proceeding. The application must be completed online using a computer with an internet connection. Applicants should thoroughly review the Prospectus and keep all necessary documents ready, including certificates, a scanned photograph, and signature in JPG/GIF format, to ensure accurate data entry and smooth uploading of required documents after paying the prescribed application fee through the online payment mode.
Registration and Verification Fee: The Registration and Verification Fee is Rs. 2,500/- (excluding bank transaction charges) for OC and BC candidates and Rs. 2,000/- (excluding bank transaction charges) for SC and ST candidates. The fee must be paid online through the designated payment gateway using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking facility. Candidates should note that the Registration and Verification Fee, once paid, is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted to any future date. Applicants are strongly advised to download and carefully read the course Prospectus to confirm their eligibility before proceeding with the payment and submission of the application.
PROCEDURE OF SELECTION: Selection shall be made by the Admission Committee appointed by Vice-Chancellor, KNR University of Health Sciences based on the web-options given by the candidates and their merit.
ADMISSION RULES: The provisional allotment letter for admission of the selected candidate must be downloaded from the official website after payment of the prescribed University fee through the online payment gateway. At the time of reporting to the allotted college, the candidate must submit a printout of the filled-in online application form, the allotment order, and all original certificates, along with one set of self-attested copies, to the Principal for verification by the Admission Committee constituted at the college. The committee will scrutinize the original documents, and if any discrepancy is found, the provisional allotment will be cancelled. Selected candidates must report to the college within the specified date, submit all original certificates, and pay the tuition fee as notified by the Government along with the prescribed college fee to complete the admission process. Failure to report within the stipulated time and complete the required formalities will result in automatic cancellation of the admission, and the candidate will not be eligible to participate in any further phases of counselling.

MERIT LIST: The provisional merit list and final merit position of applied candidates for Competent Authority Quota seats shall be notified after verification of uploaded certificates. The provisional merit list a n d final merit list shall be prepared by the Admission Committee appointed by University subject to these regulations.
The Criteria for preparation of Merit list: The merit position of candidates shall be determined based on the total percentage of marks obtained in Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry (or relevant optional subjects) in the qualifying examination, calculated up to two decimal places. Candidates who have qualified under the compartmental system will be placed in the merit list after those who passed in a single attempt. In the event of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be given a higher rank. If both marks and age are identical, the aggregate percentage of marks in all subjects of the qualifying examination, calculated up to two decimal places, will be considered. Only the science subject marks obtained in the Intermediate or equivalent examination shall be taken into account for merit ranking, even if the candidate possesses higher qualifications.
