The following are the Regulations for admission into B.Sc. Allied Health Science Colleges affiliated to Dr. NTR UHS Vijayawada under Competent Authority Quota seats in Private Un-aided non-minority B.Sc. Allied Health Science Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-2025.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the two-year Intermediate course conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. Alternatively, candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board such as AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, NIOS, APOSS, or any other equivalent board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, are also eligible. Additionally, candidates who have completed Intermediate (Vocational) with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, are eligible.
Age: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2024. Those who have not attained 17 years of age by 31.12.2024 are not eligible for admission. The age shall be calculated based on the date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination or its equivalent. There is no upper age limit.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS IN RESPECT OF CANDIDATES WHOSE DOMICILE OF ANDHRA PRADESH & TELANGANA: The candidate must fulfill the Local/Non-Local status requirements as per G.O.P. No. 646, Education (W1) Department, dated 10-07-1979, and the Presidential Order. The selection procedure shall be in accordance with the guidelines prescribed in the above G.O., as amended by G.O. Ms. No. 42, Higher Education (EC2) Department, dated 18-05-2009.
Eligibility: Candidates registered as Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders on or after 04.03.2021 shall be eligible for admission only under Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats or other supernumerary seats. They shall not be eligible for admission to seats reserved exclusively for Indian citizens.
RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES
85% of the seats shall be reserved for local candidates of the Andhra University (AU) and Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) regions, in accordance with the local area provisions defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, for non-state-wide courses, as specified in Annexure III of G.O. (P) No. 646, Education (W1) Department, dated 10-07-1979.
The following categories of candidates are eligible under 15% of the available seats, i.e. Un-reserved, in terms of the Presidential order
Candidates who have resided in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a total period of 10 years, excluding periods of study outside the State, or those whose parents have resided in the State for a total of 10 years, excluding periods of employment outside the State, shall be considered eligible. Eligibility also extends to candidates whose parents are employed with the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, or other similar Quasi-Government institutions within Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, candidates who are spouses of individuals employed in the above-mentioned organizations within the State are also eligible.

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus /Instructions from the website https://drntr.uhsap.in or from https://apuhsugadmissions.aptonline.in/UGBPT/Home/StudentLogin and verify the Eligibility under Local/ Non-local category for Competent Authority Quota Seats before proceeding to fill the application form.
Only eligible candidates, as per the relevant regulations, who wish to seek admission into the above courses offered by affiliated colleges under the Andhra Pradesh State Competent Authority Quota, must apply online by filling the application form available on the official website. Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of all original certificates/documents to determine their merit position. The application can be submitted using any computer with internet access (home/internet café/net center). Before filling the application, candidates are advised to carefully read the prospectus and keep all necessary certificates ready for accurate data entry and uploading of scanned documents, photo, and signature, after payment of the prescribed fee online. It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide accurate information and clear, valid documents. Applications with incorrect information or illegible/incomplete documents will be rejected automatically. If any false information or forged documents are found, the University reserves the right to take appropriate action, including cancellation of admission or seat allotment, without prior notice.

Candidates claiming reservation under special categories (e.g., PWD) must regularly check the university website for further notifications, if any, regarding the verification of original certificates related to their respective category.
Note- The candidature of applicants for admission into B.Sc. Paramedical Technology courses will not be considered if the online application is not submitted along with the scanned copies of the required certificates/documents, as per the regulations. Eligibility and community verification will be conducted based solely on the uploaded scanned originals.

- Merit Lists will be displayed on the website of university: https://drntr.uhsap.in and https://apuhsugadmissions.aptonline.in/UGBPT/Home/StudentLogin after verification of uploaded scanned Original Certificates.
- The eligibility of candidates will be verified based on the uploaded scanned copies of certificates/documents. Candidates claiming reservation under special categories, such as Persons with Disabilities (PH), must regularly visit the University website for further notifications, if any, regarding the verification of original certificates pertaining to their respective category.
Note: The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for the course if not submitted the online application by uploading the scanned copies of required certificates/documents as per regulations.
