The following are the Regulations for admission into Allied and Healthcare Colleges affiliated to Dr. NTR UHS Vijayawada under Competent Authority Quota seats in Private Unaided non-minority Allied and Healthcare Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-2026.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed a two-year Intermediate course from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with Science subjects — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology — along with English as a compulsory subject. Applicants who have completed 10+2 from a recognized board such as AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, NIOS, APOSS, or any other equivalent board recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are also eligible. Additionally, candidates who have completed Intermediate Vocational with a Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh may apply. Admissions are conducted once each year.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS IN RESPECT OF CANDIDATES WHOSE DOMICILE IS ANDHRAPRADESH: The candidate shall satisfy Local / Non-local status as per G.O.P.No.646, Education (W1) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The procedure indicated in the above G.O. for Selection of candidates as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009 shall be followed. The Andhra Pradesh Non-local (APNL) candidates are eligible for 15% Unreserved seats only. The Local candidates are eligible for both 15% Unreserved seats and 85% respective Local Area seats.
RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES: Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favour of the Local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as given in Annexure-III of G.O. (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979 and as per G.O.Ms.Nos.80,81 & 82 of HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated.22-07-2025.

APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE: The on-line application form for determining merit position for Competent Authority Quota Seats will be available on the University website: from 05.00 PM on 17.10.2025 to 05.00 PM. on 27.10.2025.
Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus /Instructions from the website https://drntr.uhsap.in and verify the Eligibility under Local/ Nonlocal category for Competent Authority Quota Seats before proceeding to fill the application form.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to the above courses in affiliated colleges under the Andhra Pradesh State Competent Authority Quota must apply online and upload scanned copies of all original certificates to determine their merit position. Applicants should complete the online application form available on the official website using any computer with an internet connection, such as at home or an internet café. Candidates are advised to carefully read the prospectus before filling out the form and keep all required certificates ready to ensure accurate data entry and proper uploading of documents, photograph, and signature after payment of the application fee online. It is essential to provide correct information and upload clear, valid documents, as applications with incorrect details or unclear/invisible documents will be rejected automatically. If any candidate is found to have submitted false information or uploaded fake or forged documents, the university will take appropriate action as per rules, including cancellation of the allotted seat or admission without prior notice.

SELECTION COMMITTEE: The entire admission process for Allied and Healthcare courses will be conducted under the general supervision and guidance of the Selection Committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor. The Selection Committee will select candidates in accordance with the provisions of the prescribed regulations and holds the authority to review its decisions at any stage. It may approve or cancel any admission before the official closure of the admission process.
VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATES: The eligibility of a candidate will be verified basing on the uploaded copies of scanned certificates/ documents. The candidates who are claiming reservation under Special Categories i.e. PwD, have to watch the university website for further notifications, if any, for scrutiny of original certificates of respective special category.
Note: The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission into Allied and Healthcare courses if not submitted the online application by uploading the scanned copies of required certificates/documents as per Regulations. The eligibility and community verification will be done basing on the uploaded scanned original certificate
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS: After seat allotment, the Head of the concerned institution will verify the authenticity of the candidate’s documents and, upon satisfactory verification, will instruct the candidate to pay the prescribed fees immediately. All selected candidates must undergo a medical examination as directed by the institution, and their admission will be confirmed only if they are found medically fit.
Merit List: Merit Lists will be displayed on the website of university: https://drntr.uhsap.in after verification of uploaded scanned Original Certificates.
Note: The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for the course if not submitted the online application by uploading the scanned copies of required certificates/documents as per regulations.
The criteria for preparation of merit list: The merit list will be prepared based on the total percentage of marks obtained in Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry (group subjects) in the qualifying examination, calculated up to two decimal places. Candidates who pass under the compartmental system will be placed in the merit list after those who pass in a single attempt. In case of equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate. If both marks and age are the same, the aggregate percentage of marks in all subjects of the qualifying examination, calculated up to two decimal places, will be considered. Only science subject marks in the Intermediate or equivalent examination will be taken into account, even if the candidate possesses higher qualifications.
